Vista-Mesh™ is the flagship product of SMP

Vista-Mesh is proudly manufactured, marketed and distributed by Sharp Metal Pressings (SMP).

We have been manufacturing and supplying security fencing since 1996. Our products are trusted by leading fencing contractors and are available from selected steel merchants and retailers in KZN, Gauteng, the Eastern, Southern and Western Cape.

We have a strong focus on customer service and quality which is why nearly every aspect of the Vista-Mesh™ production is manufactured in-house. We are an independently owned family-run business, employing over 80 staff members.

SMP security products have been installed at exclusive residential estates, blue chip corporate, commercial and industrial property sites throughout the country.

Vista-Mesh is manufactured using the latest automated Weld technology and quality South African steel to higher specifications than the industry average .

Accredited Galvanizing

Our HDG panels, posts, fixings & gates are hot dipped galvanized in accordance with SANS 121:2011 / ISO 1461:2009. Our Pre-Galv Wire is manufactured in accordance with SANS 765:2001 or SANS10244-2:2003

Onsite Colour Coating Plant

Our in-house state of the art Colour Coating Plant affords us the ability to offer competitive pricing, superior quality and quick turnaround times. We use Plascoat ppa 571(Performance Polymer Alloy Coating) for spray-on applications and Plascoat Wireguard G50(Blend of Polyolefins) for dipping in our fluidised bed, in a variety of colours.
